In the 2014-2015 school year, Megan Anderson and Mandy Reilly, both 1st grade teachers at Grant Eementary received a grant to purchase Osmo software for their classrooms. This software was a great addition into their small group instruction. The students typically use the Osmos during Daily 5 rounds or math workshop rotations. Using this software gives the 1st graders a wonderful opportunity to explore with problem solving, geometry, and word building. Using this software has also given the students an opportunity to collaborate & problem solve together. The 1st graders are truly engaged & having a great time while using the Osmo software. It has been a new, exciting addition to the teaching & learning at Grant School.
