This gift will help provide supplemental materials to support our current curriculum. I have been tracking a trend within the kindergarten population. This trend is showing that there is a larger number of kinesthetic learners. Students seem to learn better when the learning goal is connected to fine and gross motor activities. My goal is to provide more kinesthetic learning opportunities connected to the FPS curriculum and Nebraska State Standards.
The items purchased will be used for independent use, group use, partner use, and sent home as family learning activities. Every student in the classroom will have the opportunity to use each item purchased. The duration of this project is a one-time request, however the items requested will be used for years to come.
